Physician Assistant - New Graduates!
Highly regarded allergy and asthma team in the Lancaster, California area is looking to add a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their practice!
Candidates with a background in allergy, immunology, ENT, pulmonology, or other relevant fields will be given first priority, however the team is extremely welcoming and willing to train! Responsibilities:
- Full-time or part-time position - Allergy, Asthma & Immunology
- Monday-Friday schedule (flexible with days and hours, can be less than full-time)
- No nights, no weekends, no on-call duties, no holidays
- Evaluate and treat new patients and follow-up patients
- Perform hands-on procedures and tests
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Practice offers all types of allergy testing, rhinoscopy, pulmonary function testing, nitric oxide testing, as well as allergen immunotherapy (allergy injections), intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) infusions, and anti-IgE (Xolair) injections
- Treat patients for conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever), sinusitis, atopic dermatitis (eczema), food allergy, drug allergy, anaphylaxis (systemic allergic reactions), contact dermatitis, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), conjunctivitis, primary immunodeficiency syndromes and many others
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience with hands-on procedures
- California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
